Class picture day

On Friday was class picture day at school so of course that meant I had to get pictures before school. However on Friday Kyle was TOTALLY amazed at the topiary tree on the front porch. He has started calling it a green snowman! :-) When I asked him why it was a snowman he said "Mommy he has 3 circles!" Duh...I guess I should have known that.

This isn't the best picture...but at least he is turned around and looking at me and not the green snowman!

Music or Noise?

While I was cooking supper on Monday, Kyle decided he wanted to play the drums. This consisted of grabbing the first pot (my noodle strainer) and spoon he could grab when the dish washer was open. Yes...the dishes were clean! :-)
As he would play he would ask me "Mommy, is this music or noise?" and then he would beat the pot as hard as he could. I will give him credit toward the end of his music sesson he had figured out that different things around him made different noises and would also hit the table, blinds, and anything else that was in his path to make his music.

During supper he continued to be silly! In the picture below he was excited I had given him an orange straw just like his orange pumpkin cup!
Silly Kyle! I asked him to give me a pretty smile and this is what I got!

Bird Watchin'

Tonight Ben got off of work earlier enough to have supper and get ready for night night time with Kyle. After bathtime he wanted Daddy to read books. But before they could read Kyle went and got them two mega blocks so they could 'look for birds'!
I think they spotted one on the curtains...

How do you like their stylish binoculars? I did not even know that Kyle knew what binoculars was or looked like but he certainly figured it out.
Kyle has an amazing imagination! It is so much fun to hear the new story/game he wants to play everyday.

My Little Helper

I'm going to make sure I hold onto these pictures for when Kyle is a teenager and I have to remind him that there was a time in his life when he LOVED to help take out the trash!

Then if he still gives me too much trouble I will make him wear the firehat when he is 16 to take the trash out!
