Krispy Kreme Run...

Over Memorial Day weekend, I told Ben that Krispy Kreme doughnuts REALLY sounded good. It was after bath time and almost time for bed but we decided to take a spur of the moment trip up town to Krispy Kreme. We absolutely never do this kind of thing since we have Kyle (and us) and such a tight bed time routine. But tonight we made and exception!

Kyle thought it was COOL that he went out in his pajama's! Then when we pulled up we saw the best thing ever....THE HOT SIGN!! :-)






So we all enjoyed our splurge of a HOT Krispy Kreme doughnut and glass of milk before bedtime that night!

A trip to the "Tool Store"

Last Sunday, Ben told Kyle that they needed to go to the "Tool Store". Kyle got ALL excited and ran to his room to get his shoes. He came back with his boots. We both tried to explain to him that it was hot outside and that he needed to wear his sandals but he INSISTED that boys wear boots and he wanted to wear them. So.... in the the spirit of "picking my battles"....off we go to the "Tool Store". :-)

Once we got there, Kyle had to get a sale paper to see if anything he needed was on sale! (Yes, he is definitely my boy on this one! He sees me checking out the sales at the grocery store!)

The other night Ben went in to check on Kyle after he had gone to bed, a minute later he came running out and asked where the camera was. I followed him back in and found our sweet boy sound asleep with his trucks on his tummy. :-)

Marti's Kindergarten Graduation

On Friday night we went to Stillmore to see Marti graduate from Kindergarten. She did SO good!

My Baby Shower

A couple of days ago, my WONDERFUL friends had a baby shower for our new little addition! Everything was was so nice and I had a GREAT time!

Opening all the super nice gifts.... Everyone was SO generous! We LOVE everything and can not wait to put it all to good use when baby arrives.


I LOVE this picture.... I call it the "shotgun wedding and baby shower combo". (Yes, I know Ben and I have been married for years...but doesn't it look like a bride and all the bridesmaids!) :-)
