Too Fast....

Little One is just growing up too fast! This month he will turn 9 months. As of today the seventh tooth popped through, he says hey and bye bye all while waving to you, and now he is perfecting his crawling/scooting skills! This afternoon he even pulled up several times to stand up (which is his favorite thing to do!)

Now back to re-baby proofing my home! :-)

Strawberry Festival

A few weekends ago, we met Ben's parents at the Strawberry Festival. We have been before, but I think this was honestly the hottest day so far this year! What happened to spring?!?!

Despite the heat, Kyle had a good time riding the bicycles....

Going on the pony rides with Little Pa.

And getting to do pretty much everything else he wanted to do! He really enjoyed watching the pig races and gun fight with Pa. Kyle said that was "COOL"!

Evan had a good time too, I do not have that many good pictures of him from that day. This was his first real time of being outside in the Georgia heat with no breeze. I love that he throws his little leg up on the stroller like that. :-)

If you would like to see the last time we visited the Strawberry Festival, please click HERE.

Looking back on this post from 2009, I am AMAZED at how big Kyle has gotten and how time seems like it has FLOWN by!

Teddy Bear Hospital

This past weekend was the Teddy Bear Hospital visit.
Thankfully I had these wonderful volunteers to help with the booth! It was great! I got to walk around and be a part of the day rather than stuck to my table all day. Kyle was MORE than happy to take his picture with the pretty girls! :-)

Kyle really enjoyed visiting all the different booths and learning about the different areas of the Children's Hospital. He took it all SO seriously. It was cute! This is a picture of him giving George the Bear fluids. It is very important for George to stay hydrated.

Evan liked the Food and Nutrition booth. He REALLY wanted an orange! He was so happy when they handed him one.

George also visited the surgery area. Kyle took very good care of his beloved bear.

Then Kyle got his face painted. He had the girl paint a green, blue and black snake.

As you can see Evan waited patiently and chewed on his new "Say No to Drugs" Frisbee! Mom and I joked that this was the biggest teething ring ever! Ha ha

Practicing...

This past week, we took Kyle to pick out his new T-Ball glove. At first he was not crazy about it because he thought the glove was too stiff but now that Ben has shown him how to open and shut his hand and they have been playing catch all the time. These were a few from the first night he got the glove.

He throws the ball pretty well. How ever I still duck and holler when he throws it to me. :-) When I tried to throw it to him, well I was told "Mommy, you are a girl!" Yep, that is right, Mommy is not a very good ball player. I guess I will have to practice too.

Ben got him a new glove also so he could play catch with Kyle. I am not sure who is prouder of their gloves. :-)

What is that?!?!

Kyle absolutely loves his dress up clothes, or I should say his old Halloween costumes! One day he is an race car driver, the next he is spider man and the next he is a fireman. Most days Kyle runs to his room and comes out in what ever he plans to play with that day. He has a GREAT imagination and I love to hear him talk and play with his toys. Well on Friday night this is how he came out of his room....

He is wearing his spider man mask, fire man jacket, super hero cape, and cowboy hat. So my question is...What is he suppose to be?!?! :-)

As you can tell, Evan has NO idea either! :-)
