First Practice!

Tonight was Kyle's first baseball practice of the season.  Since he is older now, his team will now practice at during the week at night.  We will have to change up our nightly routine a little but it will be worth it!  Mom pointed out to me this afternoon to just think what it will be like when BOTH Kyle and Evan are playing sports at different times.  Goodness, I don't want to have to think about that!! I will be running myself silly between ball fields! :-)

Anyway, Kyle had a GREAT time and I was very proud of him!!  When we first got there he ran right up to his coach who was already on the field and said "Hey, my name is Kyle!"  He immediately ran off and started practicing.  It wasn't but a few minutes later the Coach asked for parent volunteers to help.  Ben jumped right up and went out on the field.  I think he had as much fun as Kyle. :-)

The only one that was less than thrilled that his Bubba AND his Dada was on the ball field was Evan.  He REALLY wanted to get out on the field and go play with them.  I think everyone knew it also because he repeatedly yelled their names until either Ben or Kyle would wave at him. It really was sweet, but my goodness was he loud! :-)
Toward the end of practice, Kyle was at third base, I yelled at him to look at me and smile.  Apparently that is not something I should do.  (You should have heard Ben!!) Ha ha but it did turn out to be a good picture! :-)

Sleepy heads

When I got out of the shower this morning, I found this in my bed.....

Don't they all look so sweet and peaceful?!?  Right after I took this picture the boys started to stir and the wild and crazy morning began. ;-)

Cat in the Hat Day!

Today was Cat in the Hat Day in Kyle's class. I believe they had a GREAT day!  He said they got to watch a Dr. Seuss parade and then they made strawberry cupcakes and he even got to use a plastic knife to spread the icing.  Ha Ha Using a knife is off limits at home so that was one of the first thing he told me.   He told me it was okay because Mrs. Faye gave it to him. He was so proud of himself! So I made a really big deal about telling him he got to use a knife because he is 5 years old and he is a big boy.
It was so neat that Mrs. Faye dressed all the boys and girls up like the Cat in the Hat.  Of course we had to stop for a picture before we left.

Then of course I needed one picture of the boys together. Don't they look so cute?!?! :-)

Thursday morning pictures....

The boys were very cute this morning before school and we were actually on time for once so I took a few pictures of my sweet boys.

LOOK!! They all are looking and smiling at the camera at once.  Oh my goodness, it was a small miracle (but don't my boys look handsome)?!?! :-)
Now my pictures with the boys didn't turn out so well.... First Lil'Bit was looking down.
And then when I tried to get both boys with me Evan decided to stick his tongue out. This is his new thing, he opens his mouth to let you know he doesn't have anything in his mouth.  He does this a lot now, especially when he is eating to let us know he has chewed his food up and he wants more.
And then the pictures went down hill from here.  Just imagine lots of wiggling, squirming and trying to get down and break free. It was a fun morning even with the few pictures we got.

McD's Fun Family Day

Last weekend the boys and I went to McD's for Fun Family Day.  It started at 9am and we enjoyed breakfast while we were there.  Usually if there is allot going on Evan will not eat, he will just watch everything and everyone however on this particular morning he was VERY hungry.  He ate an entire pancake, 1/2 a patty of sausage, and over 1/2 of his hash brown.  There was an older couple across from us and the lady kept saying "He sure is a good eater" to me and then she gave a running commentary to her husband of what Evan was eating.  It was really quiet funny.

Kyle ate good too however he was VERY excited to meet Ronald McDonald.  When he first met him, Ronald pulled a Frisbee from behind Kyle's ear.  Well after that, Kyle was hooked on magic. :-)

We stayed for Ronald's magic show which lasted about 20 + minutes plus.  I have to admit it was really neat!

After the magic show, Kyle got his face painted.  He really surprised me that he wanted his entire face painted.  So.... Spider man joined us and then went on all our errands for the rest of the day.  Kyle really liked all of the attention and people calling him Spider man.  It turned out to be a great morning and we look forward to the next time. :-)
