Bath time

Kyle has always liked bathtime but it seems the older he gets the more fun we have at bathtime. We he was little I always remember being so careful not to get to much water on his face and in his ears now I can barely keep him from constantly putting his head under water. (I know that this is a good thing that he likes water - but it scares me to death!)

Each night after supper, I tell Kyle it is bath time and he is always ready! He stops playing with what ever he is doing and runs to his bath room and if I am not fast enough I hear "c'mon! c'mon!"

Then when he gets in he dumps his toys and lines them up along the bath tub. This has turned into a real activity because once he gets them lined up, he tells me what they are and throws them back in the water one at a time.

After we finish bathing he plays some more and then it is time to get out. Now he runs straight to his bed room and wants to get in his bed to "pretend" he is going night night.

Looking back through pictures tonight I see just how much he has grown in the last year and a half. I found these pictures at bathtime from February 2007. Even then he liked bath time (well most of the time)....

This is one of my favorite expressions! Kyle looks like he is totally OVER the whole bath time situation!
