Bouncy House!!

This morning, Mom and I took Kyle to the bouncy house place. This was the place that I wanted to have Kyle's birthday party at last year but it closed right before his party. It has recently opened back up under new management so we wanted to go check it out.
They have ALOT more jumping inflatables in this space than they did last time. I really think Kyle had a great time! Once he figured things out, he ran and jumped and played on everything.

They had a lot of toddler areas which I really liked. One of the inflatables was Sesame Street with a slide and all different activities for the kids to do.

Kyle on the little slides for his age...

Then guess what... he spotted the HUGE big boy slide! Yes he immediately made a bee line for it. This year he crawled up like a pro and did not even have to hold on to the sides.

First he came down on his tummy....

Then some how he talked me into getting on it with him. Not once....

But twice!
Mom snapped this picture right after Kyle did a flip and was going down on his back down the slide!

Wednesday night with Dee Dee

On Wednesday night, Kyle and I went to supper in Statesboro with Dee Dee (Ben's mom). We ate at Applebee's and then looked around TJ Maxx. Dee Dee suggested going down to the Pets Store to see the animals and that was a HUGE hit with Kyle!

He loved looking at all the fish. We even found some Nemo's. I think Dee Dee and I enjoyed looking at the turtles swimming in the water the most!

There were also lots of birds, bunny rabbits, ferrets, and every other kind of animal you could think of in this pet store. It was SO neat and I have honestly never seen that many different types of animals for sale in one place before.
However...Yes we ONLY looked! No pets for me! :-)

Build a PUPPY!

On Wednesday, Kyle got to go to Build A Bear and pick out his very own stuffed animal! At the very beginning he was so excited that every time I would show him an animal he would say "OK" and run to the "stuffing" area. I had to explain to him that no matter what or how fast he picked it out that he would get to stuff it. After that he took a few brief moments and selected a soft brown doggie.

Kyle waited very patiently for the Bear stuffer to finish with a little girl before us. He even announced to the entire store "I patient!"

Finally it was his turn! Kyle got to pick the puppy dog's heart out and put it in and then it was time for him to hold down the stuffing petal to fill his puppy dog.
After Puppy dog was stuffed he picked out a UGA shirt for him to wear. I wish I had gotten the picture of the stuffed motorcycle he wanted his puppy dog to ride but I was too busy trying to get it away from him that I didn't take the picture.

GaGa dressing the puppy dog in the UGA shirt...

After going to the naming certificate area and check out Kyle has his puppy dog!

A trip to the Zoo

On Saturday, Ben, Kyle and I went to the Jacksonville Zoo! We had a lot of fun and it turned out to be a great day to go. There were hardly any visitors there at all!
Kyle and Ben really enjoyed riding the carousel. They let Ben and Kyle ride by themselves and Kyle LOVED picking out just what animal he wanted to ride! (I do have pictures of Kyle smiling on this but I thought this one of Ben is too funny!)
Next we went into the petting zoo area and Kyle petted some goats. He thought this was neat...or his new word of the day AWESOME! (I honestly have no idea where he picked that up from!)

We did see the lion character that the zoo has. He was super nice. Kyle wanted to sit down so they did. But of course Kyle had to put the stick he found right up in front of his face before I snapped the picture.
Kyle and I were looking up at the cool misters that they had. It was really neat, they had these mister thingys that was spraying cool air/water in the covered areas.

Kyle got to pick out his own treat for the day and he selected this giraffe.

We had a great time at the zoo for the 4th of July! Ben and I were talking on the way home and we can't remember the last time that we have just taken a day trip like this. It was nice...I hope we get to do it again one day.

Finally the BEACH!!

On Friday, Mom, Vicki and I took Kyle to the beach. We had a great time! The weather was wonderful and Kyle was SO happy to finally get to build his sandcastle. Or should I say Kyle was happy that Vicki, Mom and I built sandcastles and he got to knock them down and step on them! :-)
After we played in the sand, we went for a walk and found the tide pools. Kyle thought this was great! He sat, ran through and splashed!

He even went "swimming".
