Visit to the Teddy Bear Hospital

Today was the Teddy Bear Hospital and once again I had my booth (Thank you Vicki and Rachel for helping!) and Mom and I got to take the boys through the "hospital".  This year Kyle took Turkey, who couldn't fly and Evan brought Elmo, who fell off the bed.  Needless to say Turkey and Elmo were in pretty bad shape!
Turkey had to go to X-ray to find out why he couldn't fly.

Good news!  Both Turkey and Elmo are going to be okay and after their trip to the Teddy Bear Hospital they feel much better!  In addition to taking the boys through the hospital booths, a lot of community groups came.  Kyle and Evan LOVED seeing the fire truck.  Evan cried and didn't want to get out!
Next Kyle got on the police motorcyle.  Well he found the police horn and he blew the horn not once, but twice.... :-) Sorry to everyone around who he busted there eardrums!!
Vicki and Evan visited with the chik fil a cow.  The cow was dressed as a doctor! It was too funny!
The boys and Miss Rachel! :-)
*After I finished this post, I decided to look up last years Teddy Bear Hospital (click here to see) I can't believe how much the boys have grown!!

Pirates and a Sword Fight

Saturday morning as soon as Ben got home from work I had to run to a ribbon cutting for one of my CMN sponsors so Ben stayed up to play with the boys.  Apparently they had a great time!  These are the pictures I found on the camera! :-)

Pirate Evan looks very serious as he is attacking someone or something with his sword!

Then apparently he decided it would do more damage to turn the sword around and to hit something with the handle!

Kyle was dressed in his Captain Jack Sparrow hat and fire man jacket.... Well every good pirate needs to be ready for a fire at any moment.

Looks like the boys had lots of fun and I am SO glad that Ben remembered to take pictures on this action packed morning!  (By the way...I was only gone 45 mins, by the time I got back home this entire pirate scene was over. Things happen and change at my house VERY quickly it seems!) :-)
