Is it Friday already?!?!

I can not believe our week is cloming to a close! It has completely flown by. But I really think Kyle has enjoyed his staycation - I know I have.

On Wednesday, we went to The Little Jumping Bean. Kyle loved it! He started off in the Toddler Town but quickly saw all the bigger kids playing in the other area and wanted to go over with them. Kyle thinks he is as big as all the other kids.

This is Toddler Town....

The slide in Toddler Town....

Then Kyle found the GIANT slide! He crawled up and slide down right by himself. He did not want any help! Mr. Independent!!! :-)

On Thursday Daddy, Sheila and Zack came down. It was great to spend time with them and I am glad that our vacations worked out the same week. Camera batteries got low but here is a picture from Toys R Us on Thursday....

Buckhorn Creek Ranch

On Tuesday, Kyle and I went to Vidalia to see Daddy and Zack. They are up from Florida this week. Once we got there we went to Buckhorn Creek Ranch. It was an amazing wildlife animal petting zoo! It is owned by this local family in Vidalia and is on a 250 acre ranch. They have camels, llamas, wild russian boars, goats, emus, lots of different kinds of deer (I remember one was from Iraq), bison, and much much more.

I think Kyle had a ball! I think his favorite was feeding the camel! The camel liked eating the tall weeds and Kyle really got into breaking weeds off and sticking them through the fence to give to the camel. Everytime Kyle would do this he would say "here" and the camel would lean down and eat from his hand.

Next we got on a tractor buggy ride and rode out into some of the fields. The animals came right up to you and we got to throw these alf alfa sprout squares over to them for them to eat.

In the next area we got to feed a baby deer apple slices.

This was the best trip! I would HIGHLY recommend everyone going and visiting this Ranch! There website is http://www.buckhorncreekranch.net/.

Kyle's First trip to the beach!

Today, Grandma Dot, Aunt Vicki, and I took Kyle to the beach for the first time. The weather looked like it was going to rain but it turned out to be a GREAT beach day! Kyle really liked the water!

This first picture is just hilarious! As we were setting everything up Kyle stood on the towel and watched in amazement as the water went in and out. It was just a few seconds before we ran straight in. He really did good by always wanting to hold on of our hands when he got to the water.

Sitting for a BRIEF few seconds....

Sunday - July 6

On Sunday, July 6 Little Pa and De De (Ben's parents) met us for playtime at Chuck E. Cheese and lunch. This was Kyle's First time at Chuck E. Cheese's and he had a great time! They have a toddler area in the resturant and it features a slide. Needless to say that was Kyle's favorite!

Saturday - July 5

On Saturday we had a Mommy, Daddy and Kyle day. We stayed around the house Saturday morning because Kyle decided to get up at 5:45 am and then take an early nap around 10:30am. After lunch we all went to the Savannah Mall and played in the soft play area. I think Kyle had a good time but there really were A LOT of children in there so we really didn't stay too long.

Proof Kyle is part monkey......

Standing on a pelican....

After the soft play area we went to the food court and had ice cream from Chick Fil A and rode the carosel. This was Kyle's first ride on one and I think he liked it however he did not crack one smile the entire time!

Friday, July 4

On Friday, July 4 Grandma Dot and Aunt Vicki came down to celebrate with us. The morning started off by Daddy and Kyle sampling my patriotic cupcakes....

I think he liked them!

Then that afternoon we all went to play outside. Thank you Aunt Vicki for the Elmo sprinkler mat!

Then it was on to the sand box.... How do you get sand out of hair?!?!?
