Saturday Fun

Saturday morning the boys and I got outside to play. We decided to go out front to play with chalk and Kyle wanted to ride his bike.

Evan sat in his zebra and watch, squealed and cheered Kyle on with every lap he made on the the driveway. One of my favorite things is hearing Evan clap and say "yea, yea, yea!" It is the cutest thing ever!

Once Kyle got off his bike he started drawing. I think Evan liked his helmet!

Sweet boy!

Kyle and I drew turtles, sharks, suns, a hopscotch squares, and anything else we could think of! We had so much fun but before I realized it we got SO hot!

I am looking forward to getting outside with the boys again this weekend. Maybe it will be a little cooler?!?! Nah, its summer in south GA.... :-)

A new defintion to describe me...

Mamarazzi

Yep, that pretty much describes me!

I take pictures of big days like the first day of Vacation Bible School for Kyle.

Or just because it was Monday for Evan.

I take pictures of everyday regular things like Kyle's taco tonight when he put more cheese than meat. (Yes, he ate all of it!) :-)

Or because Evan was squealing and having such a good time with puffs.

My boys know that their Mama will always have a camera and I will be sure to record every day of their lives. I keep telling myself that one day they will appreciate all of these memories I have captured. So yes, I am very proud to be called the Mamarazzi! :-)

T Ball Awards

Kyle absolutely LOVED T-Ball this year! He got so in to it and looked forward to going to play ball every Saturday morning. To be honest, Ben and I loved it also. I know we will have lots and lots more games for Kyle and Evan one day, but there was something very special about Kyle's first year.

On June 1st, Kyle had a T-Ball awards and party with his ball team. This was Kyle's first ever award and let me tell you, it is VERY VERY special! Kyle was the first little boy called up to receive his award (His lucky number was #2!) and yes this was one proud mama snapping probably 25 pictures while he was up to receive his award. :-)

After the awards and dinner the ball team got to play in the splash area at the Y. My goodness the boys had a blast! The best picture I took of Kyle was with my cell phone. All of the pictures that we took on the camera were action shots and you only see half or the back of him.

Even though it was late that night, Evan still had a good time. I held him down at a few of the spray fountains. He was SO cute, and would just squeal as the water would splash up on him.

Another First...

Today, GaGa, MeMe, the boys and I ate lunch at Cracker Barrel in Statesboro. It is one of our favorite restaurants and now it marks another first for our family. After going to our 9 month "well baby" check up with Evan, the doctor told us Evan could start eating more foods or really anything he wanted. So we decided to let Evan try out those 8 pearly white teeth he has on something other than my fingers and gave him the strawberry-apple puffs.

At first, he wasn't quite sure what was in front of him, but he knew it was good. :-)

Then, as most things do, they went straight in his mouth.

Hmmmm... Not so sure about that one! I think he was confused that I was actually letting him eat them and not immediately sticking my fingers in his mouth trying to dig them out! You could hear him chomping on them and biting them in half. It was too cute!

Then Kyle started feeding them to him....

As you can tell, Kyle LOVED it!

I love that Evan is getting bigger now and wanting to play with Kyle. Kyle crawled around on the floor with Evan forever tonight. They even chased each other down the hallway crawling! You could hear both boys laughing all over the house. I love to hear their laughter and I love that they love each other so much!
