Making a tent with Daddy!

On Sunday afternoon, Kyle and Ben decided to make a tent in the living room. Well when I heard Kyle say..."Let's make a tent!" I had one stipulation...Do not move the furniture! :-) I came back into the living room a few minutes later and this is what I saw. (Notice Ben's elbow sticking out of the side!)

Kyle was outside the tent but eagerly wanted me to crawl in to the tent! Needless to say that didn't happen! :-)

So I just snapped pictures from the front of the tent! They were too cute under there. I heard them read story books and I think a few toys made it into the tent.

Happy 1st Birthday Stephen and Matthew!!

On Saturday we celebrated Dana and Tim's twins first birthday! The boys had a pirates party...I think Dana had been dreaming of a Pirate Party even before she had little boys. And what better way to celebrate- Saturday was "Speak like a Pirate Day!"

Dana and Tim had all the accessories needed for all the children at the party to be true pirates!

After supper FUN!!

Tonight after supper, we went outside to play for a little bit. The weather is getting so nice we REALLY enjoyed being out in the fall breeze and most of all NO mosquitoes. (The no mosquitoes could have been from all the bug spray I have covered me and Kyle in but at least it worked!)

Papa's visit!

I hope everyone had a great Labor day weekend. I can not believe summer is coming to a close already but I am ready for the cooler days and hopefully not as many mosquitoes. Over the weekend, my Dad came to visit! We had a great time and Kyle really enjoyed playing with Papa.

Since the weather was so nice, we spent a lot of time outside. And of course, that was right up Kyle's alley! :-)

Kyle and Papa "raced" across the back yard more times than I could count. However I think Kyle had the unfair advantage of just riding on his 4 wheeler. :-)

We put up a new swing for Kyle and he is a big boy now because he can get in himself.

However if he can't find any one to push him in the swing since he hasn't gotten the pumping his legs in the swing he just gets in and swings like this!

Mr. Cheesey!!!

Before going to MiKaley's birthday party on Saturday I told Kyle I wanted to get a picture of him. He ran to the front of the house and gave me this HUGE cheesey grin!!! Then he asked...can I go to the party now?

Then I got this... YEAH PARTY!!!
