Buckhorn Creek Ranch

On Tuesday, Kyle and I went to Vidalia to see Daddy and Zack. They are up from Florida this week. Once we got there we went to Buckhorn Creek Ranch. It was an amazing wildlife animal petting zoo! It is owned by this local family in Vidalia and is on a 250 acre ranch. They have camels, llamas, wild russian boars, goats, emus, lots of different kinds of deer (I remember one was from Iraq), bison, and much much more.

I think Kyle had a ball! I think his favorite was feeding the camel! The camel liked eating the tall weeds and Kyle really got into breaking weeds off and sticking them through the fence to give to the camel. Everytime Kyle would do this he would say "here" and the camel would lean down and eat from his hand.

Next we got on a tractor buggy ride and rode out into some of the fields. The animals came right up to you and we got to throw these alf alfa sprout squares over to them for them to eat.

In the next area we got to feed a baby deer apple slices.

This was the best trip! I would HIGHLY recommend everyone going and visiting this Ranch! There website is http://www.buckhorncreekranch.net/.
