Last week we went on a "last minute" mini vacation to Walt Disney World. We had the best time being away with the boys even though it was a lot of work and very tiresome. I think the boys really had a good time. Can you believe Evan has already been to Disney World twice and he is only 6 months old! I tell you that is one lucky baby! Ha ha

When I was a little girl I remember coming home from school on Friday afternoon and my parents deciding to go to Disney World or to go the the beach for the weekend. I loved the "spur of the moment" fun and excitement! (I know-HUGE shocker for those who know me and know that I must be prepared and dwell on things for days before it happens!) Anyway, I want to create those kind of fun "spur of the the moment" memories for the boys. Even though my mom worked and I never went lacking for one thing and I always remember mom being at all my activities at school I worry about this more than most realize. I want the boys to know that I am there for them no matter what. I feel SO guilty having to leave them every morning to go to work. I have been working so much lately that I think I needed this get a way with them as much as they needed it with me.

We had a great time. We took our time driving down to Florida and stopped several times. I have found a new outlet that I would like to go back and spend an entire day at!

We arrived at Disney World in the late afternoon. Kyle was SO excited because we did not tell him where we were going. We wanted it to be a surprise. Since we stayed at a hotel in the park we decided just to eat dinner at the hotel and call it an early night.

The next day was our big Magic Kingdom day! Kyle's favorite ride hands down was "Buzz Lightyear", Evan's was "It's a Small World" and Ben's was "The People Mover". We all had lots and lots of fun! First for being at the happiest place on earth but more importantly just being there together as a family.

These are times that I hope the boys will look back on and remember as a happy time and remember that Mommy and Daddy tried to be "spontaneous" and more importantly know that we will ALWAYS be there for them.
